About Us
Creating joyful, accessible travel experiences for neurodivergent women
Meet the Founder
Agnes Abelsen
Late-diagnosed with ADHD, Agnes spent years navigating a world that wasn't designed for neurodivergent minds. After founding Travengers, a supported travel company for autistic adults, she witnessed firsthand the transformative power of accessible, understanding travel experiences.
Now, with Divergence Travel, she's creating something new: group travel experiences specifically designed for neurodivergent women who want to explore the world without the overwhelm, connect with others who truly understand, and discover the joy of travel done differently.
Because the neurodivergent people I know are some of the coolest people on the planet! And they deserve to be accepted as they are, and see the world in a way that works for them too.

The Heart Behind It All
Our Why
I grew up in a neurodivergent family. I saw the challenges, chaos, exclusion, the world that wasn't designed for us - long before I understood why.
It wasn't until my own late ADHD diagnosis that everything clicked. But as I rediscovered myself, I felt isolated.
I started opening up about it, and so many women quietly said: "Me too." A mix of shame and relief, like they'd finally been seen.
I wanted to connect with them. To build something where that feeling of finally belonging without judgement could exist.
After running an autism travel company for 6 years - and being a travel lover myself - I know how overwhelming travel can be; the planning, decision making and booking process of doing it solo. And mainstream group travel didn't fit me.
Divergence Travel exists to fix both. To make travel feel easy, joyful, and connected - and to create a community where neurodivergent women can truly be themselves.
Because neurodivergent people are some of the coolest people on this planet. And they deserve to see the world in a way that works for them too.
